Kara Polyner: Identity Maven

During the long, cold winter of 2018-2019, Jacob was living in Ely, Minnesota for his first winter up north. Jacob approached Kara Polyner, who at the time was operating a store-front design and branding business called Ely Design Works, located on Chapman Street in Ely’s bustling business district. It was an instant match! Kara’s M.O. as an artist and designer involves taking everything she knows about a small business and incorporating that into their brand image and story. Since White Pine Productions’ work also involves crafting images for branding, he wanted to produce a series of videos to celebrate Ely Design Works. Since then, Kara has moved her business and re-branded herself as an Identity Maven™, but here you can view the brand and testimonial videos we captured that winter!
